These LiquiCell Nasal CPAP Cushions give extra comfort and help avoid mask skin and pressure sores. Whilst they are designed for the nasal bridge, these can be placed anywhere the mask touches the skin without losing the mask seal. However, they are not designed to be inserted into the nostrils with nasal pillows mask.
The ultra-thin and nearly invisible liquid-filled membranes of the pad provide a synthetic, external bursa that allows the body to glide or float with an object and aid in the reduction of shear and friction of the skin.
Hope2Sleep highly recommend these, as even in the unlikely event people prefer not to use them with their masks, there will always be a use for these in the medicine cabinet. (Kath Hope, CEO of Hope2Sleep, herself was relieved to discover she got instant relief from a painful heel sore caused by a new pair of shoes! and other customers have told how they've come to the rescue for other burns and sores etc).
There are 30 disposable pads per pack with adhesive-backed strips, designed for one night's use, but some people may find they can get more than one night's wear out of them, although the adhesive will probably not work on successive nights. Using them for more than one night is NOT recommended medical advice - it is simply observation some users have reported.
The pads do NOT contain Latex and are made from polyurethane containing an odourless silicone fluid. Each pad is approx 6 cm long.
my husband has been using a c pap full face mask for a year. He has had trouble with mask leaks and pressure marks on his nose. He has tried using different mask liners and a rubber cushion to stop the mask rubbing on his nose. neither of these were successful he was ready to give up then I found your webb site and we purchased liquicell nasal cushions. These little cushions are amazing no more leaks or red marks. They are supposed to be one night usage but he can use each one three times making them very reasonably priced. Your service was very good and we will certainly be buying from you when we need more Thank you

These Nasal CPAP Cushions have significantly reduced the soreness on the bridge of my nose I was encountering when wearing the full mask. I recommend gently wiping your face with and bridge of nose with a gentle face wipe to remove the oils and grease then let you skin settle for 2 minutes before applying the CPAP Cushion. Gently remove the CPAP Cushion in the morning by peeling it off slowly. In the mornings I wash / shower then apply a tiny amount of CPAP Healing Cream to the bridge of nose. Since following this regime I have had a 95% improvement, but you will still get a little redness on bridge of nose in the mornings but this rapidly disappears by mid morning. Hope that helps you all.
I bought these to prevent marks on my nose where the mask rests but there is no padding to help and they are too thin to make any difference.
Thanks for your review Mrs Stedman, and sorry to hear the Liquicell didn't help in your case like they have for many other people. Sadly there is no 'one-fix-for-all' product for us mask users and we have to try all available options. I would suggest you try a Silent Night Liner, as for the smaller majority of people who don't get success with the Liquicell, the addition of a liner as well as the Liquicell usually sorts out the problem.
Does the job
These are the only nasal pads I've found which don't cause (more) mask leakage, but I do wish they went higher up the bridge of my nose. I still get red marks above the cushion and can't move it any higher as the sides go into my eyes. They are the best I've tried though, so will continue to buy.
Glad to hear the Liquicell pads have helped you, even though not completely Amelia. I have to say that whilst many people find they completely sort out their problem, I'm the same as you and use a mask liner on the top of the Liquicell. Kath

very good product always had them on nhs but they no longer stock them so have to get them myself good product easy to order just a little expensive for what they are
I was experiencing a very sore and tender nose from using my mask. This item is excellent and very soon sorted my problem I would recommend them.
Fabulous solution to prevent sores on the bridge of your nose . I started using them whenever i felt a bit sore , as i'd seen some people with really bad open sores . I am a great believer in prevention is better than cure . I do get a few nights use out of each one , so it helps keep the cost down . They are comfortable to wear , and cause no leakage. I Think they are an essential piece of kit to have for anyone whose mask rests on the bridge of the nose , and would certainly recommend them .
Brilliant, they work, next will be after cushioning for my nasal only mask, have tram lines on face in the morning
