Beaumont Products

These are the popular Beaumont Citrus II Wipes we have been selling for many years, and are, we believe, the first CPAP wipes that entered the market and still in high demand.

Citrus II CPAP Mask Wipes, suitable for cleaning and deodorising all types of CPAP, BIPAP, APAP or Oxygen Therapy Masks and Accessories (can even be used on other medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, canes and walkers etc).

We have been selling this brand for many years, and whilst they are not the cheapest on the market, based on our own opinion (and use) along with most genuine reviews being 5 stars, we really wouldn't hesitate to state they are simply one of the best for thorough cleaning!

Cleaning is a top priority for your masks and nasal cushions, to ensure your mask is completely free from facial oils which helps prevent mask leaks, as well as obvious hygiene issues.

These wipes contain NO ALCOHOL and are SOLVENT FREE. They are made solely from natural ingredients (corn, citrus and coconut), and are designed for daily use to gently remove dirt, oils and organics from masks and tubing without leaving any after-odour.  Each wipe is ample big enough to clean not just the mask, but also wipe over the machine.

You simply wipe the mask (without having to dismantle the parts everyday), machine, nasal cushions etc., and leave to air dry - all ready for your next use!  For people who use mask liners which stick to the mask, these wipes can be used to wipe the liner to freshen it and then use the remainder of the wipe on the exposed parts of the mask.

These wipes can also be safely used on other medical equipment, and as well as their thorough cleaning, also leaves a nice smell (assuming you like citrus of course).

Other users of this product (including ourselves) have commented their masks seal better after using them, and also prolong the life of the masks. We cannot rate them highly enough!

  • One tub of 62 Wipes in a handy dispenser tub (convenient to leave in your bedroom by your machine).

  • 14 individually-wrapped Wipes which although a more expensive way of buying these wipes, are very handy for holidays and travel, as the sachets can be slipped in your luggage easily, adding hardly any weight or barely taking up extra space.  Due to them being individually packaged they will not dry out.

Water, Decyl Glucoside, Laurl Glucoside, Glycerin, Socium Citrate, Citrus Limon (Lemon Peel Oil), Benzisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Magnesium Chloride, Magnesium Nitrate.

IMPORTANT - The CPAP manufacturers themselves warn against using baby wipes or antibacterial wipes, along with any other product containing alcohol and moisturising additives.  Alcohol and harsh chemicals will damage the masks, and moisturising additives can cause mask leaks in the same way that facial oils do.  Also bear in mind some products are unsafe for breathing!

It is also worth noting that the baby wipes advertised these days claiming they contain no additives, comprise of 99.9% of water, so are not strong enough to remove facial oils, clean saliva or germs, so these are not recommended either!

Useful for Travel

I am currently using these while overseas to clean my CPAP mask and equipment. They do the job very well. They are quite large wipes and should be able to clean everything that needs it. A handy sized pack, more portable than the larger tubes which are better for home use.

Good, butÖ

These do the job of cleaning but I have found with a nasal pillow that they leave it slightly slippery and I then have issues at night with slippage.
This might only be an issue for the nasal pillow of course and not other types of mask (or it might just be me!)
I personally prefer the liquid cleaning wash for a nasal pillow.

It's not something we hear of about the more expensive Beaumont wipes Sharman, so wondering if with it being small pillows you're using the wipe on whethe it would be worth trying to cut the wipe in half as perhaps there's too much cleaning fluid ending on the small nasal pillows.

Nice and easy

Mask wipes

Great for cleaning without having to dismantle the mask. Enough in one wipe to do it all and still be able to clean my specs too!

That's a good tip about cleaning your specs. We'll have to try that 😊

Convenient but perhaps not for the sensitive
10 March 2023  |

I bought these as I thought they would be handy to use when we're away in the caravan but first, I tried them out at home.
They are quite expensive but they are large sheets and can be cut into smaller sections which makes them more economical. I cut mine into quarters and found one quarter was perfectly adequate to clean my mask and wipe over the straps and headgear.
The problem was that after using the wipes for a few days, my skin developed a burning itching sensation which started under my mask and then spread everywhere the straps touched my skin. Once I'd realised that the wipes were causing the problem, I stopped using them and washed all my equipment in mild washing-up liquid and gradually, with the aid of the wonderful Therapy Cream, my skin calmed down.
I should say that I have dry and very sensitive skin and amongst other things, I react badly to sticking plaster, medical paper tape and various cosmetics. Judging by other reviews, most people seem to have no problem using these wipes but if you do have sensitive skin, it might be wise to proceed cautiously.

Aw sorry to hear these caused some sensitivity issues which is rare, but can of course happen to people more prone to allergies. The unscented ones might suit you better and are a little cheaper.

Best wipes
08 November 2022  |

I have tried other mask wipes, but always come back to these. They really are great. Good size, plenty moist enough and nice clean acent. Honestly, I've tried cheaper wipes, but had to use 2 or 3 doubled/tripled just to get a decent wipe, but with these, one wipe does a great job. Excellant product and excellant value for money

We agree with you Anne that they really are the best for cleaning (and the Clinell ones for sanitising). It's just that they're more expensive than the others and we have to import them adding more cost. Glad you like them though.

We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible.  Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day.  An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list.  Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.

All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK.  Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders.

Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before making a payment.  On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called  'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!

Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.

If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.

Important for International Orders

We can ship most products internationally, but all prices are in UK British Pounds and if paying by debit or credit card the bank will automatically convert to the current conversation rate.  Likewise, if you choose the Paypal option, they will convert into your currency for you as payment is made.

International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any delays at Customs at your end, or charges that may be added in your own country, such as customs fees and import tax on delivery, which are determined by your country’s import laws and are beyond our control. Therefore, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay these charges, and certain courier companies will not be able to deliver the goods to you without pre-payment of any charges. From our experience, it appears to be randomised as to which parcels incur extra charges, but please know that all accompanying paperwork is filled in correctly when shipping and there is nothing more we can do, as much as we'd like to.

If you purchase from us out of the UK or you move to another country after purchasing products, please be aware that the warranty for CPAP machines, masks and parts from the manufacturers are under warranty  with the manufacturer based in the UK, so you will be responsible for sending the product back to us and will need to pay postage to get the product back to you after exchange or repair, as the manufacturer will not pay for shipping in any country outside of the UK.

Masks, CPAP machines and and most other products are exempt from a refund or exchange unless faulty due to health and hygiene issues - as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions', and in particular due to the risk of cross contamination as they cannot be re-sold. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 28.(3)(a) confirms exemption as follows:-  "exemption in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery."

Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed.  A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
