Part Number: AGGELPAD-PSBrand: AG Industries
We're pleased to say we've finally been able to add these Boomerang Gel Pads to our stocklist for people who suffer from nasal bridge soreness from their masks. They are washable and AG Industries have also recognised the nasal paids needed to come in 2 different sizes which is a bonus to similar products.
These Boomerang Nasal Gel Pads by AG Industries are for people who suffer from nasal bridge discomfort from the masks and they come in 2 different sizes - Petite/Small (1.25" high X 3.40" wide) or Medium/Large (1.40" high X 3.70" wide).
The Boomerang Gel Pads are designed to relieve pressure and skin irritation, and they are washable with mild soap and resuseable. The manufacturer states to replace them every 30 days, but with careful cleaning and sealed storage (in the original container each pad is supplied in) there is every chance these will last a longer.
The pads are made from a propriety USP grade mineral oil, including moisturising essential oils. They are non-toxic, hypoallergenic and contain no latex or silicone.
Whilst trialling these we had a little go at cutting them to make them shorter, and surprisingly this worked well, despite no mention of this from the manufacturer!
The Boomerang Pads are available as one single size in either Petite/Small or Medium/Large, or first time users may want to select the Duo Packs which contain both sizes.
It is very important to lay the Boomerang pad on the nose when in an elevated position before placing the mask on top, to ensure it stays in place.
I purchased the gel pad to see if it would help with nose bridge soreness (Vitera mask). Unfortunately there was no improvement.

That's a shame to hear as there are excellent reviews for the Boomerang and some not so good, but always worth trying. Hope you do find something that helps.
I was having leaks around the bridge of my nose which was blowing into my eyes.Since using this product I donít get the problem.Yes it is a bit tricky to keep it in place until you get the mask on I just tilt my head back.
That tip is the best one Robert of tilting back the head or even laying down to apply the Boomerang before the mask. So glad it's helped you 😊
I purchased the gel pad as a spare. I was diagnosed with severe OSA in 1992 & have been on CPAP treatment since then (full compliance). My hospital recently changed my mask to a Resmed AirFit F20, I expressed concerns about the bridge of my nose, which had suffered much in past. They issued me with a gel pad. I tried the mask for 3 nights without the gel pad and developed a severe red welt across my nasal bridge. The gel pad is comfortable & has been 100% effective at protecting my nose.
Good to hear how well the Boomerang gel pad is helping you 😊
So glad I came across this. My clinic had given me a similar one to try so I ordered in desperation. Pleased I did as it's saved my nose and means I'm no longer self conscious in opening the door to the postman. Great support from the charity too thank you.
Thanks Michelle as we love helping our fellow CPAP users and so glad the Boomerang is helping you as well 😊

Stops waking with a sore bridge to your nose. It can be a little fiddly to place and to clean but more than worth the effort in the morning.
Like so many people who struggle with cpap mask sores I was desperate to find a solution. I purchased this product in the hope it would help, despite the prohibitive price for a small piece of silicone. Having tried it for several nights, and fully followed the instructions, I have to conclude that it is a total waste of money and not fit for purpose. It causes mask leaks as itís too thick and it slips about everywhere. I am so disappointed by this product and would encourage others not to waste their money. Iíve resorted to using silicone medical tape over the bridge of my nose. While it is not ideal it is better than this product. Iíve been using Cpap for some time so this is not a case of someone who doesnít know how to fit a mask. Unfortunately cpap masks can cause sores irrespective of whether they are correctly fitted. Iím disappointed that a charity would sell such a rubbish product to people who are desperate to find a solution to cpap problems. DO NOT BUY. Read the reviews, there are many more negative reviews than positive.

Sorry to read such a negative review and especially against us at the charity for selling the 'rubbish' product. We much prefer to sell products that have higher reviews and would love it if everything worked for everyone, but we sell the product because it helps more people than it doesn't. As of today, 24/7/21 there are 12 x 5* reviews and 8 x 1* with others in between so it is not fair to say there are more negatives than positive! All our reviews are genuine too, and for those of us struggling with nose sores it's certainly worth a try. We're sorry about the price too, but this is based on manufacturer costs and import fees etc., but always keep our prices as low as we can. However, this is not a 'piece of silicone' like you quote and it clearly states on the product it contains no latex or silicone! We agree nose sores are not caused by not fitting masks properly though, but in the longterm we always recommend patients ask their clinics for a mask which avoids the nasal bridge when they suffer from repeated sores.Good to hear the silicone medical tape is helping you, and especially as we hear it doesn't work for many other people, which is proof that what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another, which is why we all just have to keep trying to find out what works for each one of us, and why we continue to supply the Boomerang, as many customers would be upset not to be able to purchase it.Whilst we understand and expect some negative reviews, and even welcome them, it is hurtful to accuse the charity of selling a rubbish product at a high price, as we really do our very best to cater for everyone which is why we will continue to stock this product for the many people who do find it helpful.
My husbands nose was very sore and sometimes bled due to his cpap mask. The hospital wouldnít provide anything other than plasters which did nothing to help the problem. I spoke to a friend with apnea who recommended this product. It has really helped his nose which is now fine. The only thing I would say is that we would probably order the smaller size next time for an even better fit.

So pleased to hear the Boomerang Pad helped your husband's poor nose.
Didnít work for me Iím afraid, as it didnít stay in place on my nose.
Shame to hear it didn't work for you Ruth. Try laying down before putting on the mask as gravity helps and the mask will usually keep it in place.
I wish I had come across this Nasal bridge cushion a long time ago. I have permanent scarring on the bridge of my nose from wearing the mask. These nasal pads are brilliant. I now have no pain and the wound is healing.
So pleased for you Catherine 😊

We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3 pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible. Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders. International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any charges that may be added in your own country.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before purchase. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Masks, CPAP machines and and most other products are exempt from a refund or exchange unless faulty due to health and hygiene issues (as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions'), and in particular due to the risk of cross contamination as they cannot be re-sold. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 28.(3)(a) confirms exemption as follows:- "exemption in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery."
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
