This CPAP Moisture Therapy Cream has been designed specifically for the CPAP/APAP/BIPAP/Ventilator and Oxygen Mask Users as it contains NO Petroleum Based Ingredients, which should NEVER be used with the masks. It is also free from alcohol which damages the mask cushions!
The cream helps prevent and heal skin problems such as chafing, irritation, dryness, soreness or cracking from using a nasal or full face mask, and can be used WITH the mask and applied to the areas where the mask meets the face. Many people who previously used night cream now use this instead to keep their skin moisturised!
For nasal pillows the cream can be applied to the outside and inside of the nostrils before inserting the pillows. The cream can be used as often as needed to form a resilient moisture protective barrier, and many users are reporting their masks seal better after applying the cream to the area where the seal meets the face, which is possibly due to the cream's thick consistency.
For any mask sores it is also advisable to apply the cream several times a day until the skin has healed, and then continue use at night with the mask to prevent a flare-up. Incidentally, the cream has other uses for skin issues and many people keep a tube in the medicine cabinet for general use!
Below is a genuine image a parent sent us after just a day or so of using the cream, and she has kindly given us permission to share this to help others:-
Each 1 oz Tube contains Aloe Vera, Emu Oil and Vitamins, and a tube of this cream does appear to go a long way with most people.
DO NOT use any Petroleum-based products on your masks, such as Vaseline or Vicks, as apart from damaging the masks there is a risk that sometimes inhaling fat-based substances (lipoids) like petroleum jelly or mineral oil for prolonged periods can cause lung problems - in particular Lipid Pneumonia!
Sorry! Not impressed very poor quality and constancy and a very small tube for 9.99 I much prefer Lidl or Aldi ordinaryface creams for 1.99 disappointed

Sorry you were disappointed compared to most of the others who left reviews. All our reviews are genuine and the only word we have removed from your review was the mild swear word which is not helpful to anyone! We would further comment that none of us would choose to use this CPAP Moisture Cream at £9.99 but it is safe for us who use CPAP. You will no doubt find that the Lidl or Aldi cheaper creams both contain ingredients not recommended with CPAP (usually alcohol and/or petroleum jelly). Recently started CPAP. Skin was very sore around the nose. This cream has definitely helped...not sure how!

Our local clinic call it the 'magic' cream Orla and it certainly does it's magic for many people 🙂
I suffer with dry skin quite badly so when I learned I couldn't use my normal moisturizer before bed like I used to because of my mask I was worried, but this cream has stopped it being an issue. It's also helped with leaks too. Just wish the tube was bigger!
I only use it when my mask makes red marks or indentations and it has really made a difference from the first time of using
Was recommend to me by Sleep Clinic and would highly recommend, my nose is no longer sore
Advised by GP to use petroleum jelly!! Now realise his advice in this respect to be unsound. Easily applied and effective.
Glad you're finding the cream helpful Anne and definitely safer than anything containing petroleum jelly. Having used a CPAP machine for nearly 6 months with little trouble for the last 6 months itís been one issue after another. Iíve now changed to APAP but my mask is now causing severe redness to my nasal bridge to skin that is already super sensitive and has rosacea. I ordered this cream to see if it would help and have to say it is very soothing even to my super sensitive skin. It seems a very small tube but have to say a little goes a long way and itís well worth the money for me I would recommend it.
Perfect but expensive ..But works quickly and one only needs to use a very small amount.
Having tried many different creams my face still dry, I thought I would give it a try and WOW it helped clear my dry face and I suffer from stress eczema and after 2 nights of using the cream it's gone too . However use sparingly and if you have oily skin on put on area that's affected.
I use the cream to moisturise my nostrils. It is the only cream I have found that actually works.

We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3 pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible. Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders. International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any charges that may be added in your own country.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before purchase. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Masks and most products cannot be exchanged, unless faulty, due to health and hygiene issues, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, (as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions' ) and where you will find our return address, so if you are unsure about any product please contact us BEFORE purchase or BEFORE opening a sealed packet.
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
