Part Number: CP-18Brand: LouSal Enterprises
This CPAP Moisture Therapy Cream has been designed specifically for the CPAP/APAP/BIPAP/Ventilator and Oxygen Mask Users as it contains NO Petroleum Based Ingredients, which should NEVER be used with the masks. It is also free from alcohol which damages the mask cushions!
The cream helps prevent and heal skin problems such as chafing, irritation, dryness, soreness or cracking from using a nasal or full face mask, and can be used WITH the mask and applied to the areas where the mask meets the face. Many people who previously used night cream now use this instead to keep their skin moisturised!
For nasal pillows the cream can be applied to the outside and inside of the nostrils before inserting the pillows. The cream can be used as often as needed to form a resilient moisture protective barrier, and many users are reporting their masks seal better after applying the cream to the area where the seal meets the face, which is possibly due to the cream's thick consistency.
For any mask sores it is also advisable to apply the cream several times a day until the skin has healed, and then continue use at night with the mask to prevent a flare-up. Incidentally, the cream has other uses for skin issues and many people keep a tube in the medicine cabinet for general use!
Below is a genuine image a parent sent us after just a day or so of using the cream, and she has kindly given us permission to share this to help others:-
Each 1 oz Tube contains Aloe Vera, Emu Oil and Vitamins, and a tube of this cream does appear to go a long way with most people.
DO NOT use any Petroleum-based products on your masks, such as Vaseline or Vicks, as apart from damaging the masks there is a risk that sometimes inhaling fat-based substances (lipoids) like petroleum jelly or mineral oil for prolonged periods can cause lung problems - in particular Lipoid Pneumonia!
This product is working for me. Superb for my dry skin. My order arrived in swift time. Thanks.

I feel this is expensive and, as it is my first time of purchase I will reserve judgement. However, my initial impression is that it wonít last long as the tube is small and seems quite a thin fluid too.
You're not the first to comment about the size of the cream, but you'll find it lasts a long time. Hope you find it as helpful as many others do.
I had a terrible skin rash on my face from the mask, I tried all sorts to try and clear it, even light application of hydrocortisone cream and nothing worked, so I gave this a go and after a couple of days persistence applying a few times per day it completely cleared up! I was so made up as i was having to start using special make up products to cover up the red marks that were on my face and was becoming self conscious with it. So now it is in a little grab bag of essential things i have next to my bed! Highly recommend & will definitely be using it again.
This is great news and it really is a magic cream 😊
While I agree with some others that this cream appears to be expensive I can honestly say the since using it I think itís worth every penny. As a new cpap user everything right now is trial and error and I wish every purchase Iíve made was as amazing as this one.Iím now using it as my day and night cream and am very happy.
Glad you love the cream as much as us at the charity and many other people 🙂 It does appear expensive at first for the small tube but it goes a very long way.
Great moisturizer but I was looking for a cream that would form an air tight seal around mask. My mistake but this is a good skin cream

I am very pleased with the prompt response of John Hope on 23/5/10 to my enquiry about the full ingredients list, which I needed to ensure none of the chemicals to which I'm allergic was present. My subsequent order arrived promptly, and works well.
Good to hear the cream has caused to allergies and we'll pass on your comments to John thanking him for his help 🙂.
This is a lovely pruduct but I still get the red mark from the mask due to allergic to the mask, I wear liners but they don't completely cover my nose but the cream does help soften the skin around it and smells lush
Yes, the CPAP Cream really does help so many people, but it would also be worth you trying the Liquicell Nasal Strips underneath the liner or the Boomerang Gel Pad for even greater protection (not at the same time as the cream though or the nasal pads could slip).
I was new to cpap and wearing nose pillows my nose underneath and surrounding skin was dry and sore. My usual cream even E45 didn't work only helped. 4 days after this cream used twice a day around the area and its healed well.
Glad this 'amazing cream' has helped you too 🙂
It is so hard to find appropriate creams to protect and quieten down an already chapped face which is both good for your skin as well as non damaging to the mask. This moisture therapy cream is good. A little goes a long way, it protects the delicate skin from wearing and breathing into your mask as well as actually helping the mask attain a better seal... It actually works, so I like it... I will buy again. 😊
Glad to hear how much, in the words of one sleep clinic "this magic cream" is helping you 🙂
Sorry! Not impressed very poor quality and constancy and a very small tube for 9.99 I much prefer Lidl or Aldi ordinaryface creams for 1.99 disappointed

Sorry you were disappointed compared to most of the others who left reviews. All our reviews are genuine and the only word we have removed from your review was the mild swear word which is not helpful to anyone! We would further comment that none of us would choose to use this CPAP Moisture Cream at £9.99 but it is safe for us who use CPAP. You will no doubt find that the Lidl or Aldi cheaper creams both contain ingredients not recommended with CPAP (usually alcohol and/or petroleum jelly). We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3 pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible. Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders. International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any charges that may be added in your own country.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before purchase. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Masks and most products cannot be exchanged, unless faulty, due to health and hygiene issues, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, (as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions' ) and where you will find our return address, so if you are unsure about any product please contact us BEFORE purchase or BEFORE opening a sealed packet.
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
