These Hose Covers are handmade locally and exclusively for us here in the UK. As well as being essential to prevent 'rainout' for people who use humidification, they also look nicer on the hose to take a away the clinical look in the bedroom.
If your particular size of Hose Cover is not available, we can have your size made in your choice of the available colours by special request.
The CPAP, BiPAP and Ventilator Hose Cover, is designed to give insulation to the CPAP Hose, preventing the water accumulating in the mask and tubing - especially in cooler temperatures. This often results in water splashing your face, collecting in the mask (known as 'rainout', thus giving you yet more disturbed sleep). The Hose Lift is also a very popular product to help with this and with both the Hose Cover AND the Hose Lift, this is almost guaranteed to cure the problem!
The Hose Covers also have other uses, as well as insulation:-
The covers come ready made in a choice of 6 ft, 8 ft or 10 ft (different sizes can be made by request) and are easy to fit with velcro fastenings on each end to secure them. Instructions are included on the packaging, and if you use a mask which has an extra small mini tube, then you will also need a Mini Hose Cover for full protection from 'rainout'.
There are 16 various designs and colours available:-
IMPORTANT
If the mask you are using has a smaller slim hose/tube attached to the mask, you will also need to purchase a matching Mini Hose Cover to provide full insulation from 'rainout' or the smaller tubing will attract 'rainout' whilst the large hose is protected with insulation.
The Hose Cover should easily slide over most hoses, but for any difficulties (especially with rubber-ended hoses) wrap one end of the hose with aluminium foil or clingfilm before sliding the hose cover over the wrapped end. When fitted on the hose, remove the foil/film from the end of the hose and secure the Hose Cover with the velcro wraps.
Such a simple solution to the irritating sound of the condensate bubbling with every breath, which us just as noisy as the snoring, but somehow more annoying. Highly recommended.

Bought recently and has pretty much cured the condensation issue that I've had since I got the machine.Took a few minutes to put on as its a snug fit, and people with hand mobility/strength issues may want to get a friend/family member/carer to help with this but it is 100% worth investing in.Also much nicer if you accidentally lay on a fuzzy soft cover than hard cold plastic.
Nicely made, good price. I used the trick of putting some clingfilm over the hose end to help it through the cover.I'd been getting a dry mouth before I had the cover but this seems to have stopped completely now.
Response:
Yes, with rubber-ended hoses they do often need the clingfilm on the end to help putting the cover on easier. Great to hear insulating the hose has also helped with your dry mouth.
Very good material and does the job well no more rain out .I would have given 5 stars but I found it difficult to get on each time
Glad it's fixed the 'rainout' and next time to wash it, if you place clingfilm on the end of your hose the cover should slide on easier. It's usually the rubber-ended hoses that can make it more awkward but we have them made so as not to be too baggy with just enough room to slide over the hose ends.
Unless you have the strength of Goliath and the patience of Job, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!I've just spent over 90 minutes trying to slide this cover over a 6' 15mm hose. The only reason I got it on is that I refused to be beaten by a bit of fabric tubing!Once this requires cleaning it will be consigned to the bin - life's too short to be wasted fitting this item.By the way, I'm a 71 year old male with only the dexterity problems commensurate with my age, so it's not as if I'm a suffering from reduced manual strength or dexterity.Seriously, it's shameful that this is advertised as an aid!DO NOT BUY!
Very sad to see such a rare negative review, but it appears the problem is because you didn't notice the fitting instructions which is printed on both the packaging and on the website to explain how to easily fit the cover on a hose which has rubber ends. Otherwise the product wouldn't have over 100 genuine reviews (most 5 stars).
Definitely helps with noise.
I bought this after buying hose lift as I was getting a lot of water in my mask. It also stops the hose imprint if I roll and lean on it. It has helped with the amount of water I am getting
Warms up the tube, stops it from getting scratched by the bed post, feels cuddly, and looks great.
Not only is this lovely and soft, it also takes away the clinical feel of the hose. Loved the tiger print so much that my CPAP is now officially called Tigger!
That made us laugh Anthony - naming your CPAP after your hose cover 😁
I am fairly new to CPAP and still discovering how to improve my experience. The nurse at the hospital where I collected my equipment suggested that a hose cover could be useful to insulate the hose and help reduce condensation. She was absolutely right, now I can increase the humidity level without waking with spluttering noises in the hose and water in my mask. Thank you!

Shipping
We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible. Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before making a payment. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Important for International Orders
We can ship most products internationally, but all prices are in UK British Pounds and if paying by debit or credit card the bank will automatically convert to the current conversation rate. Likewise, if you choose the Paypal option, they will convert into your currency for you as payment is made.
International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any charges that may be added in your own country. If you purchase from us out of the UK or you move to another country after purchasing products, please be aware that the warranty for CPAP machines, masks and parts from the manufacturers are under warranty with the manufacturer based in the UK, so you will be responsible for sending the product back to us and will need to pay postage to get the product back to you after exchange or repair, as the manufacturer will not pay for shipping in any country outside of the UK.
Masks, CPAP machines and and most other products are exempt from a refund or exchange unless faulty due to health and hygiene issues - as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions', and in particular due to the risk of cross contamination as they cannot be re-sold. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 28.(3)(a) confirms exemption as follows:- "exemption in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery."
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
