Part Number: SOS-UK-01420-V3Brand: PFL-Snoreeze
We have added these Snoreeze Oral Strips to our charity shop, and whilst they are primarily designed to target snoring, during our trials we discovered that they were helping with Dry Mouth for people on CPAP and non-invasive ventilators.
These Oral Strips by PFL Healthcare under the Snoreeze brand are designed to target the main cause of snoring, and the way they work is that they lubricate the soft tissue at the back of the throat, which is how we discovered they help with a dry mouth too - one of the common problems amongst CPAP and non-invasive ventilator users, and sometimes even when using a humidifier attached to their machines.
Due to the fact these Oral Strips are applied to the roof of the mouth and dissolve, they are suitable to be used with CPAP or non-invasive ventilators and could be a good alternative to our popular Xylimelts for people who struggle with those, to help prevent dry mouth. They would certainly be worth a try! Some people may even choose to use them at the same time as Xylimelts for severe cases of dry mouth.
For snorers, the Oral Strips are designed to target the the main cause of snoring - toning the soft tissue at the back of the throat and claim to provide snoring relief for up to 8 hours. If you are purchasing these for snoring, please do read our webpage on 'What Is Sleep Apnoea' just in case your snoring is a sign of undiagnosed sleep apnoea, which is a serious medical condition if untreated.
Occasionally, even for patients with sleep apnoea, some snoring may return at times of throat or other viruses, so these Oral Strips may well prove helpful at these times.
Pectin (from apples), aqua, glycerin, peppermint oil, cellulose, sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), menthol (from peppermint), aspartame**, potassium sorbate, sodium saccharin, acesulfame K, hyaluronic acid, guar gum, citric acid, blue FCF. Vegetal origin.
**A source of phenylalanine.
For oral use only. Keep out of reach of small children. Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Snoreeze Oral Strips should be used at room temperature. Snoreeze recommends that if you are pregnant or breastfeeding you should contact your doctor before use.
There is no guaranteed ‘cure’ for snoring (if this is why you are purchasing them). However, Snoreeze Oral Strips can relieve the symptoms of snoring to help provide a peaceful night’s sleep for you and your partner. Snoreeze Oral Strips are not a cure for sleep apnoea (a related respiratory medical condition).
You may be suffering from sleep apnoea if you stop breathing during sleep, wake up tired or fall asleep easily during the day.
If you experience any of these symptoms, we recommend that you consult your doctor.
The Snoreeze Oral Strips come in a pack of either 14 strips or 28.
Unfortunately, we are not able to supply these oral strips with zero rated VAT relief for people with chronic medical conditions, due to the fact that they are classified as a snoring product, even though they may help people with sleep apnoea. Therefore, VAT will be added at checkout.
I tried this as an alternative to the Xymelts tablets. The strip lasted about an hour. I won't be using them again. Waste of money

That's a shame they didn't work for you, and in actual fact I used one myself last night and for me when I woke in the middle of the night it was still working and believe the effects lasted for about 6 hours. Sadly not everything works the same for everyone but hope the Xylimelts are helping you.
Have tried these over the last few weeks and they have done what they are supposed to do no dry mouth. Did use the XyliMelts and did like them but will now keep to using Oral straps.
I found these better than the Xylimelts but because of medication I take my mouth gets extremely dry so having B-Pap as well it gets awful, even with a humidifier.
That's a shame for you Debbie as a dry mouth, as well as the risk of gum disease and tooth decay, is uncomfortable. I wonder if it's worth using the Xylimelts and these oral strips 🤔
I have used these before When I was trying to get a diagnosis. The item comes as a pack of micro thin papers that stick on your tongue. You then press this onto the top of the roof of your mouthAnd let it stick there. I found it difficult to get the item to adhere. I agree that when first applied your mouth waters like anything. However by morning I have found that the effect did not last. I would say that these are better for sleep apnoea when trying to get diagnosed because the papers do something to the roof of your mouth i think it makes ir rise higher and stops you snoring. They also do a spray i believe i saw on the makers website. If they work for you I'd say great but we are all different and this may not work for you. I thought Iíd give these a try as I have used before when trying to get a diagnosis see if they work. I have gone off the xylitol so i was looking for an alternative to this.
You've hit the nail on the head David when you say "but we are all different" as what works for one person doesn't always work for another, so we have to try several solutions. We hear that some people find these help with dry mouth most of the night or just for a few hours, so perhaps it depends on many other factors. Thanks for the in-depth feedback.
These strips work well but could do with lasting a bit longer. When I use 1 it dissolves slowly but has gone by time I put my CPAP on which dries my mouth again.
Good to hear you're getting some relief. It would be worth popping the strip in immediately before putting your CPAP on and ready for sleep. I find it's still working well until I've finished reading with my mask on and it certainly helps for most of the night, but of course we're all different and does depend on the amount of dryness we have. Tried these and they do work but not as well as sleep seal inhalation valves (which are still not available).
We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3 pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible. Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders. International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any charges that may be added in your own country.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before purchase. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Masks and most products cannot be exchanged, unless faulty, due to health and hygiene issues, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, (as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions' ) and where you will find our return address, so if you are unsure about any product please contact us BEFORE purchase or BEFORE opening a sealed packet.
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
