We have added these Snoreeze Nasal Strips to our charity shop, primarily for people who require the extra relief of opening up their nasal passages even when using their CPAP and non-invasive ventilator masks to help with nasal breathing.
We have chosen the Snoreeze Nasal Strips, as apart from having much success in our trials, PFL Healthcare who own the Snoreeze brand, are a very responsible company who put their customer's health above sales, and always warn people that if they believe their symptoms of snoring could be a sign of sleep apnoea, then to seek medical help.
Another priority when choosing the Snoreeze brand opposed to many others, is that these are Latex-Free, which is very important for a lot of people with allergies!
Helps open up the nasal passages for better nasal breathing, especially during times of colds and allergies, or any other reason for nasal stuffiness.
It's a known fact that nasal breathing is far healthier for us, so using products such as nasal strips that increase nasal airflow encourages nasal breathing - especially in people who struggle with this.
The Snoreeze nasal strips are both latex-free and hypoallergenic, unlike many competitive strips on the market.
For CPAP and non-invasive ventilator users, it can be challenging using a mask with a blocked nose, which is why many people do need that added help from nasal strips.
Whilst not a 100% guarantee for everyone as it will depend on factors like clean or oily skin, but during our trials we found these Snoreeze nasal strips adhered to the skin well - even with high CPAP pressures.
As well as night time use, nasal strips are helpful during exercise to encourage nasal breathing.
Helps minimise snoring if caused by nasal issues.
Dr Steven Park, ENT and Sleep Consultant and author of 'Sleep Interrupted' and 'Totally CPAP' which we sell here at the charity has provided the following experiment to see if nasal strips may work:
Take both index fingers and press them just besides your nostrils on your cheek.
Whilst firmly pressing on your cheeks, lift the cheek skin upwards and sideways, pointing towards the outer corners of your eyes.
Take a deep breath in to see if you can breathe better through your nose. Repeat several times.
If this manoeuvre works for you then you may benefit from using nasal strips.
Please Note
There is no guaranteed ‘cure’ for snoring (if this is why you are purchasing them). However, Snoreeze Nasal Strips can relieve the symptoms of snoring to help provide a peaceful night’s sleep for you and your partner. Snoreeze Nasal Strips are not a cure for sleep apnoea (a related respiratory medical condition).
You may be suffering from sleep apnoea if you stop breathing during sleep, wake-up tired or fall asleep easily during the day.
If you experience any of these symptoms it is recommended that you consult your doctor.
There are 20 individually wrapped nasal strips in each box and they are available in either Small-Medium or Large.
Unfortunately, we are not able to supply these oral strips with zero rated VAT relief for people with chronic medical conditions, due to the fact that they are classified as a snoring product, even though they may help people with sleep apnoea. Therefore, VAT will be added at checkout.
I actually found this product in my local chemist, before I was told about the Hope2Sleep website. Except with the VAT they are more expensive in the Chemist. Really effective strips, that open the nasal passages which is what helps prevents snoring, but used in conjunction with your CPAP mask, aids the flow of air into your nasal passages.

These are the best nasal breathing strips I’ve tried. I will be buying more. The shape is perfect; they really open the airways. They don’t irritate my skin.
These strips are great, they don't come off during the night like other brands I've used. They really do open up my nasal passages and work well with my nasal mask
I knew nose strips would work well for me but all the ones I'd tried had latex which I'm allergice to. I was so pleased to find these.
I found that they come off during the night, the Boots Breathe Right strips for me were much better as they stayed in place all night.
Response:
That's a shame Richard. Breatheright are also very good, but we have this brand due to them containing no latex.
I struggle to avoid mouth breathing so bought these to help get sufficient flow through my nose. They open up the flow at just the right point (above the nostril flare, below where my glasses sit) and give me a welcome increase in capacity.I am going to ask my sleep clinic if they can prescribe these but if not will be buying them regularly.
Unfortunately I do not find these strips help my breathing through my nose any and leave a red mark on my nose. I have a deviated septum and sleep apnoea but worth a try
That is a shame Marie, but agree it was worth a try. It would now be worth you trying something like the nasal cones or 'Mute Snoring' as it may help to have something opening your nasal passages from the inside. A little tip too is that using the Nasal Strip with a face covering during this COVID pandemic may help.
I tried theses nasal strips for seven days but they did nothing for me. I get a very dry mouth at night but theses strips did not help at all.
It's a shame the nasal strips didn't help you Robert. They will only help people whose snoring/sleep apnoea is due to nasal congestion or polyps/turbinates swelling but was worth a try.
I still struggle with my apnoeas but these do help a bit by clearing the nostrils.
The nasal strips are great except, during the night with the CPAP Mask on the adhesive becomes less sticky and comes away thus nose is no longer clear 😔
If you're using any moisturiser on your skin this can happen, but there again, some of us have more oily skin than normal which can cause the strips to come loose. Glad they're 'nearly perfect' for you though.
Shipping
We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible. Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before making a payment. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Important for International Orders
We can ship most products internationally, but all prices are in UK British Pounds and if paying by debit or credit card the bank will automatically convert to the current conversation rate. Likewise, if you choose the Paypal option, they will convert into your currency for you as payment is made.
International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any charges that may be added in your own country. If you purchase from us out of the UK or you move to another country after purchasing products, please be aware that the warranty for CPAP machines, masks and parts from the manufacturers are under warranty with the manufacturer based in the UK, so you will be responsible for sending the product back to us and will need to pay postage to get the product back to you after exchange or repair, as the manufacturer will not pay for shipping in any country outside of the UK.
Masks, CPAP machines and and most other products are exempt from a refund or exchange unless faulty due to health and hygiene issues - as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions', and in particular due to the risk of cross contamination as they cannot be re-sold. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 28.(3)(a) confirms exemption as follows:- "exemption in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery."
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
